PlatiScore ("we", "us", "our") is an independent website that displays PlayStation Network platinum trophy statistics. We operate at platiscore.com. To contact us regarding your data, email contact@platiscore.com.

2. What Data We Collect

When a PSN account is added to PlatiScore, we retrieve and store the following information from the PlayStation Network:

• PSN Online ID (username)
• Profile avatar image URL
• Country / region code
• Trophy and platinum data (game titles, trophy counts, earn dates, rarity percentages)
• Sync timestamps (when your data was last fetched)

We do not collect passwords, email addresses, payment information, or any personal data beyond what PSN makes publicly available on your profile.

We also store computed scores derived from your trophy data (platinum value, rarity scores, difficulty estimates).

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to:

• Display your platinum trophy statistics and scores on PlatiScore
• Rank you on the public leaderboard
• Allow other users to compare their profiles against yours
• Calculate your platinum scores using rarity, time-to-complete, and difficulty estimates

We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. Third-Party Services

PlatiScore interacts with the following external services:

• PlayStation Network (Sony) — we fetch publicly available trophy data via the PSN API. Your PSN privacy settings control what data is publicly visible. If your PSN profile is set to private, we cannot retrieve your data.
• HowLongToBeat — used to estimate game completion times for scoring purposes. No personal data is sent.
• Third-party scoring sources — used to estimate game difficulty and completion time for scoring purposes. Only the game title and platform are sent. No personal data is sent.
• flagcdn.com — used to display country flags. Your country code may be sent to this service to load a flag image.

5. Data Retention

Your data remains on PlatiScore until you request its deletion. We do not automatically purge accounts after a period of inactivity.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the UK or European Economic Area, you have the following rights under GDPR:

• Right of access — you can request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Right to erasure — you can request that we delete your account and all associated data
• Right to rectification — if your data is inaccurate, you can request a re-sync or correction
• Right to restriction — you can request we stop processing your data

To exercise any of these rights, email us at contact@platiscore.com with your PSN Online ID. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Public Data

All data displayed on PlatiScore is derived from your public PlayStation Network profile. If your PSN profile is set to private, no data can be synced. By adding your PSN ID to PlatiScore, you acknowledge that your trophy data will be publicly visible on this website.

8. Cookies

PlatiScore uses a single session cookie to display flash messages (e.g. sync confirmation notices). This cookie contains no personal data, is not used for tracking, and expires when you close your browser. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

9. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect stored data. However, no internet service is 100% secure. We recommend not sharing any sensitive information through this platform.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of PlatiScore after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
