Everything you need to know about PlatiScore.
PlatiScore is a leaderboard built for true trophy hunters — the players who don't just collect platinums, but earn them the hard way.
Most trophy trackers treat every platinum the same. We don't. A platinum in a 30-second shovelware game and a platinum in a 200-hour souls-like are not the same achievement, and PlatiScore reflects that. The more effort, time, and skill a platinum demands, the more points it's worth. Simple: more effort = more points.
PlatiScore pulls your publicly available PlayStation Network trophy data and calculates a score based on how rare, how long, and how difficult each platinum actually is. The result is a leaderboard that rewards the grind.
Each platinum is scored out of 10 using three factors:
If a platinum has a rarity of 25% or higher it scores 0 — those are considered easy completions that a large portion of players finish without significant effort.
Your total PlatiScore is the sum of all your individual platinum scores. Each platinum also earns a tier:
From the home page, type your PSN Online ID into the search bar and hit Add. PlatiScore will fetch your public trophy data from PlayStation Network and calculate your scores.
Your PSN profile must be set to public for this to work. You can check this in your PlayStation account settings under Privacy.
The first sync can take a minute or two depending on how many platinums you have.
Your profile doesn't sync automatically. To update your stats, visit your profile page and click the sync button. This pulls your latest trophy data from PSN and recalculates your score.
To prevent abuse, syncs are limited to once per hour per account.
A few reasons this might happen:
Scores improve as you platinum rarer, longer, and harder games. That's the point — PlatiScore rewards the grind.
